Episode 5: Eugene Peterson
The majority of this podcast deals with the journey of how The Message Bible came about. Very interesting. They also spent some time talking about the Sabbath. It was defined as a day of "unplugging." His criteria for the Sabbath is that he prays and plays. He went on to say that "we need to escape the scheduled world that we live in." Do you have a day that you "unplug" from your scheduled world? If so, what day is it for you?
